I hope to see plenty of these in the coming months. I’m curious how these cars will sell – Car and Driver reported that the base coupe will be significantly cheaper than the base CTS sedan (http://blog.caranddriver.com/2011-cadillac-cts-coupe-cts-v-coupe-pricing-announced/), so hopefully the pricing will bring the buyers out. I’ll keep my hopes under control considering that this is a 2-door luxury car (not very practical) and many people are struggling financially.

Unless you were talking about the WRX, I don’t think any self-respecting person under the age of 30 would ever have bragged or fantasized about owning a Subaru five to ten years back. The Outback was nice for a wagon but that was about it. Times have changed and Subaru’s are hot now! They’ve got loyal customers, and I don’t think their growing standing can be attributed to a clever marketing campaign. They build cars that customers consider reliable, and those cars look a lot better now than they did in past years.
