“Growing Pains” actor Andrew Koenig committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Vancouver’s Stanley Park about a mile from downtown Vancouver, a source “close to the investigation” told E! News.
His father, actor Walter Koenig, who starred as Pavel Chekov in the television series “Star Trek,” said Thursday that his son took his own life.
Koenig was discovered in a densely wooded area of native pines and brush, so deep into the forest off Stanely Park’s Bridle Path, one of dozens of trails in the 1,000-acre area, that it appeared to the search party that “Andrew didn’t want to be found,” the source said.

That is such a tragedy and my heart and prayers go out to the family,
Sometimes lifes problems seem unbearable and like they will never end but I am here to tell you from first hand experience that is not the case. No matter how bad things get or how hard it gets to push on, stay strong and know that after every storm the Sun comes back out again. Know that at the end of every trial is a blessing you just have to push forward and know tough times don’t last always.
Finally when you hit rock bottom and feel you have no where else to go call on Jesus and he will answer everytime. I hope that helps someone out there.
