Bestselling author Judy Blume’s grandson has been arrested on suspicion of raping a teenage girl.
Elliot Blume-Pickle, 18, is alleged to have attacked a 17 year old last month (Jun10) at the family’s estate on Martha’s Vineyard, an island off Cape Cod.
He was arrested by cops this week (beg28Jun10) and charged with the offence. Blume-Pickle pleaded not guilty and was released on $5,000 bail. He is due in court later this year (10).
Blume, who writes novels aimed mainly at teenagers, has sold 80 million books worldwide.
