British rap newcomer Tinie Tempah was left disappointed after he was booked to perform for Paris Hilton at a lavish party earlier this month (May10) – because the socialite left before he arrived at the venue.
The hotel heiress was the guest of honour at the event in Cannes, France, which was thrown by bosses at London nightclub Jalouse and online gambling giant PowerPoker, and the Push Out hitmaker was invited to play for the exclusive crowd.
The rapper jetted in from Scotland after supporting Rihanna on her U.K. tour – but he was stunned when Hilton didn’t hang around to catch his performance.
He tells Britain’s Daily Mirror, “Paris left by the time I got there. I was honoured that she wanted me to do it. It was glitz and glamour defined.”
