Sheen’s Wife Not Back In Rehab

Brooke Mueller Sheen

A representative for Charlie Sheen’s estranged wife Brooke Mueller has fired back at reports the former real estate agent is back in rehab, three months after her last stint.

Mueller checked into a treatment facility in California in February (10) in a bid to deal with personal issues, following her Christmas Day (25Dec09) bust-up with her husband in Aspen, Colorado.

After a short spell in the clinic, Mueller returned home to Los Angeles, but now reports suggest she has checked herself back into a professional clinic, where she’ll receive treatment for 30 days.

But Mueller’s rep insists the story isn’t completely true, stating, “Brooke is not in rehab. She elected to receive professional help in an area called stress management. Brooke recognized it would be in her best interest to deal with personal issues involving stress that had the potential of challenging her sobriety.”

The rep has confirmed that Mueller would be at “an undisclosed location” for two to three weeks receiving stress management assistance.

She dismisses suggestions Mrs Sheen is being treated for substance abuse.

The website claims Mueller will receive treatment for the next 30 days.

Sheen’s Car Stolen And Ditched Again

Charlie Sheen,

Charlie Sheen has been forced to fill out a stolen vehicle report for the second time this year (10) after cops discovered another one of his cars ditched at the bottom of a cliff in Los Angeles.

In February (10) the Two and a Half Men actor reported his sports utility vehicle (SUV) had been taken from outside his home, leading to a police search for the car.

The truck was found several hours later, crashed at the bottom of a steep cliff near the city’s famous Mulholland Drive.

And now Sheen is facing another enquiry after a second vehicle registered to the actor was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday morning (15Jun10) ditched near the same place as the previous car back in February.

Cops were notified that a Mercedes had been dumped off Mulholland Drive and later discovered it belonged to Sheen, reports TMZ.com.

Officers visited the star at home and informed him the vehicle had been found, while Sheen is said to have been unaware the car was missing. Police detectives are now said to be reviewing video surveillance footage from the actor’s home in a bid to solve the mystery.

Sheen Wants To Get Jail Spell Over And Done With

Charlie Sheen

Embattled actor Charlie Sheen secretly wishes he was behind bars, so he can serve his time and get on with life.

The star was expected to begin a 30-day spell at Pitkin County Jail in Colorado on Monday (07Jun10) but his assault case has been continued to 12 July (10).

A problem with the finite details of his plea deal with prosecutors led to the delay, and Sheen admits he’s as surprised as anyone that he’s back home in Los Angeles after pleading no contest to misdemeanour assault for a Christmas Day (25Dec09) attack on his wife at their Aspen, Colorado ski retreat.

He says, “It’s kind of a bittersweet situation… It’s nice to be home, but I also wouldn’t mind getting the thing done and getting it behind me.”

And Sheen, 44, disputes reports the plea deal broke down because of a plan to allow him to smoke behind bars, insisting he was hoping to use the jail spell to kick his habit.

He adds, “I definitely will (quit smoking), probably before my 45th birthday… I was making plans to cut down or follow the (jail’s) rules.”

The actor was expected to start a 30-day sentence behind bars on Monday (07Jun10), but reports suggest there was a problem regarding his plea deal with prosecutors.

He will serve the time for his Christmas Day (25Dec10) attack on his wife Brooke Mueller at the couple’s ski retreat.

He has pleaded no contest to misdemeanour assault as part of an agreement with prosecutors and was expected to enter a no contest plea to third degree assault in court on Monday.

But prosecutor Arnold Mordkin told the court, “We need more time than is available for us to complete some of the finer points… It hit a snag.”
