Hopkins Hates Socialising With Stars

Sir Anthony Hopkins

Sir Anthony Hopkins avoids socialising with his contemporaries – because he thinks "actors are the worst bores".

The Silence of the Lambs legend has acted opposite top names including Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves – but sitting down for a meal with a movie star is Hopkins’ worst nightmare.

He tells German TV station TELE 5, “Actors are the worst bores. You can’t talk with them about anything – except old movies.

“I generally don’t go out for dinner with my colleagues if I can avoid it. It’s always the same in the film business. Everybody must go out for dinner or lunch together but nobody feels like doing it.”

Theron Dating Reeves?

Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron has found love with Keanu Reeves after ending her nine-year romance with Irish actor Stuart Townsend, according to tabloid reports.

The actress, who played Reeves’ wife in The Devil’s Advocate and his dying lover in Sweet November, split from Townsend in January (10), and reports suggest she has turned to Reeves to help her move on.

The former friends were photographed in an intimate embrace after a dinner date in Beverly Hills earlier this month (03May10), and now a source tells the National Enquirer the couple is a new Hollywood item.

The insider tells the publication, “Keanu kept Charlize’s spirits high with his goofy sense of humor and low-key, easy-to-love manner. He makes her laugh, which was just what the doctor ordered for her broken heart. As she suffered through the break-up with Stuart, Keanu stepped in.”

Theron was recently linked romantically to her North Country co-star Jeremy Renner, but he denied the claims, insisting he and the actress are just old friends.

Green’s on/off girlfriend Megan Fox watched the action from the crowd, and was seen cheering on her man and embracing him after he crossed the finish line.

And after the race, Green was full of praise for his supportive partner, telling E! Online, “Megan is here, I love you. It’s awesome.”

He adds, “I gotta say, I got to give it up to Adrien Brody, we’ve been battling it out the past few days, and he is really a hell of a driver.”
