Beverage boss M.J. Silver has failed in his attempt to exact revenge on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs over disparaging comments the rap mogul made about rival vodka brands.
Combs owns a 50 per cent stake in French vodka label Ciroc and recently told New York partygoers, “If you’re not drinking Ciroc vodka, then you’re drinking pee pee.”
His remark caused controversy among the drinks industry and vodka tycoon Silver, who owns the Georgi Argent brand, waged war against Combs during a press conference in the Big Apple’s Times Square on Thursday (25Mar10).
Silver called for fellow vodka aficionados to protest Combs and attempted to humiliate him by delivering a large toilet bowl filled with Ciroc to the hip-hop star’s record label headquarters in Manhattan.
But Silver’s plans were foiled by Combs’ security team who refused to allow him into the building.
