Rocker Corey Taylor has appealed to his fans to dig deep and aid the flood relief efforts in Nashville, Tennessee.
Severe storms hit the city earlier this month (May10) and devastating floods left much of the state under water. Almost two dozen people died and many homes were destroyed.
And the Slipknot rocker is backing welfare organization the Gibson Foundation’s bid to raise cash to help the clear-up in Nashville.
He says, “(In) the aftermath of the floods which devastated Nashville, the spirit of its people remains stronger than ever.
“Gibson Foundation has launched a campaign to aid the victims of this disaster. 100 per cent of all moneys collected by the Gibson Foundation will go directly to the Nashville flood relief. To donate please go to www.gibsonfoundation.org. Please give as much as you can.”
