Actresses Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sophie Okonedo have been named in British Royal Queen Elizabeth II’s Birthday Honours List.
The Welsh beauty has been appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) while the Hotel Rwanda star landed an Order of the British Empire (OBE) medal.
And Zeta-Jones is delighted with the recognition.
She says, “I am absolutely thrilled. As a British subject I feel incredibly proud. At the same time, it is overwhelming and humbling. My mum and dad are delighted beyond belief.”
